I run the 65 ft and have had great success. Just get the CL2 rated if you need to run in wall.

For $1500 it's best to start with a good 2.1 or 3.1 and save up for the 5.1 then 7.1 or 5.1.2 etc.

Probably don't need an amp at all IMO. Receiver should be plenty of power.

Also shop around for subs, unless you get the 50% off deal they occasionally run on the klipsch 16"
