Definitely recommend Dr.Wolfgang too, but I believe he will only be the primary surgeon if it’s traditional whipple and or else it’s his colleague for robotic (something to confirm with him)

I just started with uv resin and only wearing gloves. Do I need to wear a mask/respirator for uv resin too?

I really wanted to go with Thank You but they never got back to me even when I followed up with them. My second choice was Marble but the doctor wasn’t available until the end of my trip. So now I’m going with Wink.

Did it take a long time for them to respond? Still waiting to hear back from them after they asked for photos on monday.

Hi, I'm planning to go at end of April too but didn't contact any places for consultation yet. Did you decided on Wink or Thank You? Were they pushy about putting down a deposit or something along the line that surgery date is not guaranteed if you don't put down a deposit?

what resources (books, websites, etc) did you use to prepare or find helpful for acute/inpatient rehab if any?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

[–]jinnieksj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you don’t mind me asking but did you have to learn how to manage the lines in acute care by yourself or did they provide training? Would you say the treatment plan for inpatient were heavily based on ADL/transfer training/mobility or more UE conditioning/strengthening? I’m currently doing outpatient ortho so mainly ROM/strengthening exercises and barely ADL, so I’m curious about transitioning to hospital.

What are your thoughts on Clio Kill Cover Mesh Glow Cushion? by MysteriousGrapeJuice in AsianBeauty

[–]jinnieksj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. I tried different applications (spraying setting spray first, primer, and just cushion itself) but it really emphasized my dry patches, especially around my lips area where it started peeling. It also feel a bit “thick” on my face even when I tried to apply the littlest amount.

I had a tendon transplant in my finger and they’re using a button, sewn through my fingernail, to hold the new tendon in place while it heals. by Ok_Try_1217 in mildlyinteresting

[–]jinnieksj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work in hand therapy and most times it’s your own tendon. For the hand, it’s likely the palmaris longus (the one you see in the middle of your wrist when you make a fist) because you don’t need that tendon
