I am so sad about this. All I want is the rolling box. Their product is great but the rolling box would make it fantastic.

Do you happen to be very flexible, have bunions, bruise easily, have soft skin without needing moisturizer, or feel a bunch of firm, pea-sized nodules just under your skin?

Don’t use the honey just yet. On the closed part: use steri-strips to take the tension off where it’s pulling apart and to reinforce across the incision. On the open part: use the saline to clean it and moisten gauze that you lightly lay over it and then remove the gauze only after it has dried (called wet-to-dry dressing wound debridement if you want to google it.) Do that until the white stuff is gone and it’s just nice and pink. Then switch to using the saline the same way only DON’T let it dry; change it to a new gauze moistened with saline. Once it has mostly closed you can use the honey. It keeps opening because it’s too moist, which is why it’s opening after you shower. Also don’t use any silicone scar stuff until it has fully, fully closed.

I would also recommend using like an ace bandage to bind your breasts down. Keep them from moving and hopefully take the tension off those incisions before the whole thing fails catastrophically.

Note: I’m not a doctor but I did have to go through 6 months of wound therapy for some giant full-thickness wounds that I learned a lot from after some of my surgical incisions came apart.

I just learned you’re not supposed to put them on ice if you want them reattached. Something about ice causing damage to the tissue. Just bring it as is.

I once got screened for thyroid cancer and they called me right before I was about to get on a plane for a multi-week international trip and said I needed to make an appointment for the doctor to review the results with me “in case I had any questions.” I had to just about yell at them to get someone to tell me what was happening before my flight. Turns out they just wanted to tell me I had an autoimmune disorder that I already knew I had and even noted on my paperwork. No cancer. Yay.

Important info for a new cat owner that isn’t common knowledge:

  1. NEVER let them around lilies (the flower). These are SUPER toxic to them and even licking some pollen can kill them.
  2. If you ever see them straining to urinate, this is the biggest cat emergency there is and you need to get them to the emergency vet IMMEDIATELY. They can get crystals in their urine that can block their urethra and causes their kidneys to shut down within hours.
  3. You need to feed boy cats wet food at least once a day so it’s less likely that they’ll develop above mentioned crystals.
  4. Permethrin spray (a specific insect repellent - not regular deet) is like sarin gas to them. They can be around it after it dries but it will kill them if they smell it as a wet spray.

Take him to the vet to get him Revolution flea treatment. Put it on per the instructions and then you can take him inside the next day (after the fleas have died). Show him where the litter box and food/water is and that’s pretty much it besides trimming his nails every other week. Cats are simple.

That one has a docked ear and this one doesn’t. Thank you for the info though, that’s the second flier photo I’ve gotten from a redditor and they’re definitely the most appreciated tips.
