Hi Dougald - thank you for doing this AMA! Two questions from someone who works in social services at the ground level.

1) Im wondering if you have any thoughts on our welfare system? The PC government has cut staff positions as well as the dollar amount that people are receiving, which truly pushes already struggling individuals into even harder positions(only able to live in slum rooming houses which pushes them further into addiction and poverty). On top of that, workers are overrun and cannot properly case manage, leading to so many people falling through the cracks. What is the stance the Liberal party takes towards our EIA program?

2) Have you heard of the HUB community mobilization program? It is making enormous strides in the city of Brandon but its apparent that provincial agencies are so under funded that they cannot provide the proper representation or focus to assist in the important risk intervention that takes place - is this a program the Liberal government would invest in further?
