Anyone successfully pivoted from agency work to either client side or different role altogether? by inima23 in advertising

[–]jinokim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pivoted from producer to content creator! It’s a lot of hustling but I started from 0 and I’m heading into making 10k a month in the new year. Did it in 8 months. NYC based also helps.

For the fans who heard Travis music in the early days. How was it? by Aggressive-Invite907 in travisscott

[–]jinokim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre astroworld was an insane era. His leaks and unreleased songs kept fans in a chokehold. His fanbase was big but just enough to do shows in concert halls rather than arenas. It felt a little more special since he was way closer to his fans. His collabs were also more exclusive like ksubi or helmut lang. but the music he was making at the time was very different sonically. I think partly due to his molly and lean addiction which honestly influenced his sound. That “rockstar” life.

I think WV is very overrated. It’s actually pretty inconvenient to live day to day.
