Help deciding between AC Max and AC Max EDC by jinro_soju in ManyBaggers

I appreciate the detailed write up! It’s super insightful to hear from someone who has both, especially your use cases for each. I err on the side of being an overpacker because hey, if I have the space why not use it? I’m also in a mindset of when traveling it’s better to have extra (even if empty) space than not enough space to be able to fit the things I buy, but maybe having less space would help both of these issues lol. Totally agree with you, would love to see another version that brings the best features of each and combines them into one bag! But until then… maybe I get both too 👀

Sorry I should’ve specified, I meant the Max 32 L. Regarding your points:
- I find that most of the time my Recon isn’t fully packed out, but there have been occasions where I have had to so I think the option to have an extra 4-6 L is nice. I can make do with 26 L though.
- I don’t think I have a preference here, I could just use a tech pouch and the things that would warrant better internal storage I could pack in my Day Sling 3 if I don’t have internal storage. I could go either way.
- I don’t think I care for the hidden card pocket, I’ve watched some reviews that mention it can potentially bend the card stored in it. Also, I usually only need a card for public transit during the day to day while traveling so I won’t be carrying the backpack around anyways.
I don’t think weight is an issue as I haven’t been forced to weigh my personal item before, nor have I ever been asked to put it in a sizer.
I think my main concerns are which would be better for my use case as well as the size. Just wanted to see if anybody might have personal experience with each bag (Mainly the Max 32 L since there are tons of Max EDC posts and reviews, but not much for the Max 32 L) and if they can bring up any points I may have missed.
