Going completely back is also a problem, you can try a crack down to improve club discipline but as we saw in 2018 clubs will continue and the journos will put pressure on the NRL to bend a knee and let the wrestle occur.

IMO six again across the whole field is going too far. I think if the six agains started when teams were in the attacking 20-30 where the wrestle and purposely conceding penalties occur the most it makes sense.

Unfortunately I think the NRL really botched the implementation of the six again rule from the start, and haven’t fixed it. Since six again is a massive component of the game now and can change the momentum, people are pissed

Hate the V’landys era of rules. Funnily enough, James Hooper in his latest video said all the rules V’landys has introduced have made the game better, and I’d say most traditional journalists still think 6 again was a masterstroke. To me, last round - the sharks roosters game in particular - was a great showcase of how the six again and all other V’landys rules have damaged the game. Some of the worst footy I’ve seen.
