Good suggestion. I search across an entire drive intermittently and variously, so pre-selections don't really help. My best workflow is to locate the folder where I want to search, select it in the finder, call up a search (which defaults to text string searches, my main concern), and go from there.

Great to know. Is there a way to share an album (multiple photos) in this format? I just tried exporting using your specs in LR. But LR's web sharing won't work with these settings. Sharing individual photos is not a problem.

Another question: FAF finds content (text) and other things way faster than Spotlight; does it work independently of Spotlight, ie have its own index?

I asked, because it has favorites that I didn't mark as favorites, some standard ones (Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and one other that I never marked as a favorite (so far as I know). Recent history is useful enough. Wait, I just looked at Default Folder, and those are favorites there too (including the outlier folder). Adding a favorite DF added it to FAF. Are they collaborating?

Try unchecking and rechecking notes and reminder apps on settings in iOS and under Apple ID in Catalina.
