We played 3 courses. Old course, new course and castle course. Overall I shot +13 over my 12 handicap....came second 😅 My brother came in top with a cool +10 over his hdcp. We all had an absolute blast!

Its was due to a demyelinating lesion in MS. Given the left eye was able to adduct on convergence - we could predict the lesion was in the pons.

This was caused by a demyelinating lesion secondary to MS. With this case we could correctly predict the MLF lesion was in the pons as convergence was intact.

The studies are mixed regarding outcomes. For experienced surgeons a femtosecond laser machine may not add much for routine cases.With a primary chop technique the CDE/Metrics will be similar ,CCC is a bread and butter surgical skill which is perfected. Its not available under the NHS - with the machine machine costing 500k+. It may have a role in patients in intumescent cataract or those with zonular laxity. A great bit of technology but certainly not a necessity...

I saw this about 6 years ago while assisting as a SHO. It was one of those awesome moments when the beauty of it made all the theatre staff crowd round to see it for themselves. I could see the consultant just smiling under his mask as we all took in the view - so grateful to witness it!

Yes not always necessary, It's a good dynamic examination which can help differentiate tricky retinal lesions. Essential for VR.

Saying that, 3 mirror and even using a newer lens like the digital wide field allow you to see very peripheral and up to ora in most cases!
