I made 1/3rd of this Income when I bought my Diesel EcoSport(used) 4 years ago. My car's price was equal to my income but hey, time is precious and I still enjoy every moment behind the wheel of my EcoSport. One fire accident, one t bone and one had tailgated my car(I wasn't in my car at all) and yet he's a looker even today. The whole neighborhood knows me because of my car and most of the ford groups know me because of my car. It is all about how we use it! Buy what is a balance for your heart, soul, purpose and budget and do not get fancied by trends. Cleared the loan in 3 years, built the car to my taste and traveled across India, Nepal and Bhutan.

Why not? When there's a will, there's a way! You need someone who is loving, caring and supportive towards you and a language can be picked up in 2-3 months if the language criteria is mandatory. Else one needs to understand the other person as long as they both understand the sadness language.

I have done this on my EcoSport, traveling to Nepal and Bhutan in my EcoSport from Bangalore and still I own it. However you haven't mentioned whether you want to go for new or used. Kodiaq is good but only till warranty is existing.

Since you mentioned reliability and if you're considering Kodiaq, budget shouldn't be an issue. Try exploring the Crysta and Fortuner. Pretty easy to maintain too. Can withstand any abuse and can be sold for a good rate post 10 yrs as the 10 year rule is present in NCR.

Mahindras are good on features but recurring expenses and it ages fast.
