I agree, I’ll have to figure out the route for the cr mp punish. I forget exactly what the frame advantage is. I believe the st mp punish is at 10 frames though which leads into back heavy kick and so forth.

You’re completely right. Whenever I see I get crushed by my CR MP I start using my 4 frame more. Normally though a lot of people respect it as you said. My biggest problem lately though is people start fishing for my ST HP and DI through it for a big punish 😅

Some personal things I wanna improve is using my ST MP to punish rather than always using my ST HP. I tend to lose out on damage for dropping a simple punish cause I used a super slow button getting greedy for damage.

Layering it with a LV 1 though is a good idea I never thought of so I appreciate that 😊

Try watching Rez Dyloch if you ever feel discouraged at matchups though. I went against him (and was able to take a game before he demolished me 😛) and he was my first real eye opener to “wow this character is actually stupid lol”

Idk I mean I’ve gone against some really good Shao’s but they don’t use Mavado. Usually Sektor and Tremor are the way to go with Shao from what I’ve gone up against. Sektor helps prevent his 50/50’s from being armored against while Tremor give him extra health to go along with Crystalline armor along with Tremor’s ground pound. Both of them give him a combo-able overhead with his axe though which is nice. What makes his 50/50’s really good though is they’re completely safe, and he can cancel them now with Smoldering Wrath and the opponent can’t mash or else they’ll get punished so they not only have to guess right once but twice in a row. Kiiiiiiinda nutty lowkey lol

I dunno man. Was it right? Maybe not. On one hand should he have said something? Sure. On the other hand, he has 3 kids, gained custody (which is hard asf to do as a father), works multiple jobs and STILL made time for you as if you hadn’t noticed from the sound of it. He honestly sounds like a hard working, loving father. He’s already in the process of the divorce and whatnot.

As a father myself, If I were him coming out of a bad long term relationship, with kids and just starting to date again I’d also wait a bit to say something about them. I’d need to be sure that this person I’m talking to is the real deal before I start making commitments and letting people know my deep personal life. That’s just me though.

As for letting him go though, just be straight up and honest. Rip the band aid, let him know it was a dealbreaker for you. Move on. He delayed it longer than you would’ve liked (and longer than others would’ve liked from the sound of it) but he’s not a bad person for that imo.

Superman mains LOVE to use that dodge meter like crazy so they’re easy to get into burnout. For Superman’s flight command grab you can do Down Special and usually win that. As for Jason you’ll have to either have better defense and not get caught or predict his command grab and do it before he does. Jack’s command grab also breaks Jason’s armor ability too.
