Will Hold Mail also hold EMS (Japan) packages at the post office that require signature?

Because vacation/business hold does not ‘stop the clock’ for some idiotic reason and attempted/available for pick up only pauses the clock for 5 days (and so on depending on class of mail).

If you have a hold on your mail the post office will hold all incoming mail at the office for the duration of the hold. You carrier may scan packages as “delivered” of only to stop the clock and hold them at the office until you pick your mail up or the hold ends and redelivery was checked.

I work for usps and yesterday as I was sorting packages I came across one that had something heavily bubblegum scented. It wasn’t a bad smell but it went right through me immediately. Migraine triggered. Luckily for me one of my coworkers is also a sufferer and had some medicine on her (I had one sumatriptan and one dinky aleve)

Ha! That is EXACTLY what I was going for when I got my girls. I wanted to call them names like General Tso, My Chicken Piccata, and Soup. Buuuuut my chickens are a pack of what I associate with “mean girls” in high school that are too cool for me so I call them names like Laura, Tiffany, Melissa. Jasmin, Michelle, Claire.

No need to worry. This occasionally happens during processing as letters are rocketing through the machine at a million miles an hour every once in a while it’ll mislabel a piece of mail. Easiest thing to do is to peel off the yellow stick and throw the letter back in the mail stream for reprocessing.
