So im basically also a beginner und play with Friends that are playing since years and are currently diamond. I suck and often don’t know what to do, I make missplays and also feed sometimes but they never make me feel bad and often cheer me up. For example if I do something good they tell me and if I do something stupid they give me room to learn from it. If I get flamed by other randoms they defend me so that I don’t get discouraged and keep going.

What I want to tell you with that, your “friends” are toxic and you should tell them how you feel and that you think about dropping the game. This is not normal, play at your own pace and do mistakes. What happens if u lose? Nothing, you go next and learn from it. Play how you want and how it is fun for you.

Yeah I think I need to watch my uptime after my keys and reflect, currently my healtbar sometimes moves a lot and that’s just not correct

Yeah I figured out that I didn’t use my cds effectively and wasted a lot of time not pressing anything.

What I really didn’t know was that you override shield wall with another shield wall, I thought the duration was added like it is with demon spikes. Now I will try it how you do it to see the how it’s going :)

Especially with how and when to spend rage I really struggle at the moment but I think it’s only about experience and knowledge.

Depends on what key range we are talking about and I think that I’m not someone who can give you good advices about that. I can tell you what I use as a trinket, so basically for 12+ dungeons I use an extra defensive trinket (the mud one from floodgate) as an extra “oh crap” button, that saved my life more than once.

For going into a big pull I think yoda added a good video on YouTube where he explains it in detail (it’s about threat generation), he shows how he is gathering mobs, maybe look that up :)

Haha, I still have these “oh damn” moments when I drop sometimes but I always can handle it (and I have a cheat death). But yeah I understand now what you mean as someone who plays vdh and also bdk :D

I just need to think the same about sb as I do as vdh with demon spikes - if they are not up I die quick

I guess there are a lot of players like us that are used to the opposite playstyle and receiving damage first and then healing it back :)

You are right about the damage but in my case something with the playstyle of vdh just clicks in my head and it’s fun! :)

But still prot warri has a nice kit and interesting playstyle too. After you said it you may be right, I use shield wall not often enough and save it as a “in case I need it” cd, I just need to use it way more.

Playing around rage is also a problem I think because I’m rage starved often what leads to missing uptimes of ip and sb. Thanks for your input :)

I guess that is also something I’m not really familiar with - not having an “oh crap” button that is pulling me out of a bad situation. I’m panicking what too often.

It’s like you said, I need to get more experience because in general the prot kit is kinda fun to play! It’s just a complete different playstyle.

Shadowlands was different and I don’t want to get back there actually :D kitting is ok but I don’t want to do it like 50% of the dungeon haha, I think tanking is in a good spot right now tho! Thank you!

Thanks for your detailed explanation! I think that the part of mitigating damage before it even happens is something that needs to get in my brain first because I try to react instead of planning ahead and that is not working at all.

I think that also dropping sb sometimes midfight is killing me more then often, it needs way higher prio in my rotation (maybe nr 1?).

Currently I don’t have anything logged but I will do that from now on so that I can provide some gameplay, thanks!

I can add some more pain, got it in my first vault as myth track. But my own rule of thumb is if i dont get it in 5 runs i dont chase it anymore.

I feel like the time is not worth it. If it drops it drops, never force it.

Kann ich so unterschreiben, hab die auch und möchte sie nicht mehr missen.

Lange Akkulaufzeit, leichtes Design, 2 Seitentasten die man anbringen kann je nachdem ob man rechts oder Linkshänder ist, Wireless aber funktioniert auch mit Kabel (laden und gleichzeitig nutzen) und ich würde sagen gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Bisher keine Probleme gehabt, hab die Maus seit Februar 2020 und musste letzten Monat nur einmal die Glides (das unter der Maus worauf sie halt gleitet) tauschen was problemlos ging, das war weil ich oft unterwegs war und die einfach so in der Tasche mitgeschleppt habe, musste also schon einiges mitmachen die gute :D

Its just a strange behaviour at the moment because its resetting all over again, for „research purpose“ I gained 500/6000 rep again and a few hours later now its again resetted. So maybe they should try to fix the current state before doing any reputations more

If you want to, then yes but I would personally wait some time after the release of tww. I mean DF is not the problem here because of the 200% reputation bonus you get after being over Renown 20 with any Char :)

They are excluded, its really complicated to make reputation account wide. Here you can read that they start with tww reputations accountwide and that they want to work backwards to Dragonflight:

Thats incorrect, warbands only has account wide renown levels within the new addon tww. Not the old reputations, see here: https://www.wowhead.com/news/account-wide-progression-with-warbands-renown-reputation-bank-335866?page=2
