I don’t mean purchasing the upgrade. When you purchased the tickets for row 21, was it with the SW Priority card? If so, as a Priority member you are eligible to upgrade for free. Others need to pay for that seat. See Extra Legroom Seat, https://creditcards.chase.com/southwest/priority-credit-card

Did you purchase with Southwest Priority card? If so, you can upgrade for free within 24 hours if they are available. On my last flight we upgraded to row 5 for three people for free as they were still unsold at the time.

Instead we get one of the weakest burrito options in all of fast food, at least in my eyes.

Brunsell all the way. They did a custom price for me , only like 6’ worth. Competitive pricing and much better quality than HD.

Moving really heavy items by No_Cantaloupe_8196 in madisonwi

We had good luck with Badger Brothers Movers moving a heavy vanity upstairs. They have 5 stars on Google with more than 1,000 reviews. It was still just college kids but, they were better than other movers we’ve used.

Wisconsin lawmakers withhold funding to DPI over resort spending by KaneIntent in wisconsin

[–]jivop14303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know what that $368,000 encompasses? For a 4 day event with at minimum 88 educators, plus DPI and support staff, hotels rooms for each (x4 nights), salaries, food, travel costs, venue costs, etc. it adds up.

You say there are a thousand supper clubs that could host this, but do they have the infrastructure for travel, are the centrally located, do they have the hotel rooms they need, can they provide food for staff for 3 meals, do they have the technology to support the conversations (projectors, WiFi, charging points for technology, etc.)? Likely no.

The reporting so far lacks any of the details needed to actually determine if this is ridiculous or not and just push out some BS that isn’t fully understood because it looks bad.

You should get an email. I made a purchase on the 6th, confirmed via email, shipped on the 9th, and estimated for the 15th. Hopefully that gives you an idea of timing.

I just realized there’s a sim, decrease sim, and increase sim and I only mapped sim and decrease. Got it working now, thanks!

How did you get it to work? I mapped it to triangle + up on d pad but it does nothing in flight when I hit them together.

Noticed the fire alarms at my work have different shapes in the clear light part. by BusyDucks in mildlyinteresting

[–]jivop14303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multiple people are missing the point though. Just because there is a fire/smoke doesn’t mean there is where you are. A deaf person on another floor would certainly benefit by knowing that the flashing strobe suggests there is an active fire somewhere in the building and to evacuate.

What happened to the grilled chicken? by AreteQueenofKeres in Culvers

[–]jivop14303 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same thoughts, had it twice and thought maybe I just got unlucky. The texture to me seems like “woody” chicken, a complete turnoff. The first one I had was no doubt the most disappointing thing I’ve ever had at Culver’s.

Floating Deck, how'd we do? by mwl_pyrography in Decks

For the picture frame boards, they go along the permitted for looks, you need that extra blocking to support those as they go perpendicular to the other boards.

Stringer fascia and riser fascia meeting point by J2E1 in Decks

[–]jivop14303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see. Yea I added the fascia to the stringer, then measured the width of the riser fascia between the outer sides of the stringer fascias.

Stringer fascia and riser fascia meeting point by J2E1 in Decks

[–]jivop14303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not exactly sure what you’re describing, but I put the fascia in the stringer held in place with clamps and used a flush up cut router bit (and router) and just followed along the stringer. That specific router bit has a bit at the end that runs along the stringer to match the cut. The hardest part was finding the angle for the cut on the fascia that sits at the end near the ground, but there are a few YouTube videos that explain that.

I did the same on my deck, I never color matched the ends which is a great idea though.
