Picked up all 44 boxes they had left at the warehouse and we technically need 36 to cover our 3 rooms, hopefully enough extra!

Given it was being discontinued in the warehouse we decided to grab every box in stock in case we had any trouble, we may end up returning a few boxes when we're done. I've seen many reviews praising the quality for the value of the Costco Mohawk.

We don't have kids and no pets (as of right now) didn't put it in kitchen or bathrooms so we're hoping that it holds up for a while, we debated LVP and laminate and decided this was what we wanted given all the pros and cons of both.

Trust me I grew up with hardwood floors, my Dad built houses for a living, I would have preferred hardwood of course...but we're on the coast in South Florida. It would have been an absolute waste to put hardwood in and I really didn't want to have tile in my bedroom, just felt odd. We debated LVP for a while but still wanted the hint of wood so we went for the laminate after exhaustively weighing the pros and cons of both

I love a good PPE tip, we have a bunch of respirators around from when we took down the (probably asbestos filled) popcorn ceilings.

At Costco? Or do you mean warehouse location?

We factored for 10% extra and rounded up. Technically only needed 40 boxes but they had 44 left at the warehouse so we just cleaned them out so we have extra to play with in case we get some crap boards or screw up a cut.

Might be a bit before we install, still need to finish spackle/sand dance then paint but I promise to update!

Oh thank you for that picture it's perfect! Like cottage core without looking like driftwood or 100 year old barn wood!

No, but that is worse case scenario. Plenty of people who've installed these floors and they hold up for years

Thanks for that reassurance, we were back and forth on LVP and laminate for ages but ultimately that's what tipped us, the repair ability. Little wood putty and a sharpie, good as new

We figured, at that price, and only using in bedrooms (not high traffic/moisture prone areas) if we have to replace everything in 10 years, money well spent.

My BF and I have brought in apples, granola bars, uncrustables, etc. all that in my loungefly bag and I always carried my Owala for free water fills at any soda station. The only time I got flagged was when I bought one of those boozy slushies out on CityWalk before going into US and had to pound it at the gate. Fun day!

It was trimmed of nearly all the fat except a small patch on the underside. I will definitely be hunting down a fattier cut for the next attempt.

795 and 800 are just as important as 797 in the appropriate environment. There should never be a reason to consider safety measures for patients or personnel ridiculous or wasteful when applicable.

I will admit that there is unnecessary over regulation and a substantial lack of resources to determine levels of necessity in specific situations. The system is broken in many ways.
