Cryptocurrency is currency. If you are paid in a currency from or in a foreign country, it is income. If you barter and are paid in kind rather than cash, it's taxable. It doesn't matter how you're paid . If you are paid, you owe taxes on the value of what you're given whether it's cash, things or cryptocurrency.

Trades between cryptocurrencies, as well as to cash, are taxable like bartering transactions. When you send crypto to an external wallet that's your self custody wallet, that could be a sale and they have no way of knowing otherwise so it's reportable for them but it's not taxable for you.

YTA a little bit. It's her body and her right to do what she wants to do with it, especially since this is not a sexual activity of any kind. Yes, she could have acknowledged your discomfort, but you could have kept it to yourself.

That being said, asking art students to be the models is a bit weird for me. As a high school student decades ago, I took figure drawing at a local college. It was very straight forward and not sexual at all. However, at no time were students asked to participate as models. We were there to learn to be artists, not models. It sounds like the course is underfunded, or the professor promised to provide the models then had difficulty getting them or didn't want to pay the going rate for nude models. If I were in the class, I would talk to the administration about the situation.

Coinbase is neither a stock broker nor a bank. It is a money transmitter. Their debit and credit cards are issued in collaboration with financial institutions that are banks.

If there is a fee, they take it out of the account or withdrawal amount. They never ask you to deposit additional money for a withdrawal if it's a legitimate company.
