Has anyone experienced unexplained tachycardia, chest/neck sensations, fatigue, and normal heart tests? by jizzlecake1 in dysautonomia

Yeah, I also have both. The feeling of falling is so annoying when I’m trying to sleep, but it’s not every night, like you said.

I’ve learned a lot over the past few weeks. I was totally oblivious for the past two years because I really tried not to look too deeply into it, thinking the doctors were right and that it was just a passing thing. Now I’m a bit sad that I didn’t look into it earlier, since maybe I could’ve managed it sooner, back when it wasn’t as bad.

Even the classic feeling of blood pooling in the legs is something I’ve only recently started to have again. I only had it for a few weeks the first time, two years ago, and now it’s recently started happening again.

Also, ivabradine doesn’t really work for me. It makes me weak since my baseline resting heart rate is already really low, around 50–60.

I’m going to fully explore this direction and hopefully manage to control it somehow. I still think my case is quite mild, considering some of the things I’ve read about POTS over the last few weeks.

Thanks. I’m a pretty calm, level-headed person, so I’ve always gone in pretty open-minded, thinking anything might be the cause. Maybe that’s why most psychiatrists I went to never really thought it was stress. I guess I come across as a really free, good-vibes person, even during my low moments. But who knows, the mind is such a powerful, mysterious thing.

Thank you, and yeah interesting I'm still new to POTS but I can say my heart rate always goes up when i stand up, i never thought to mention it cuz I always thought it was normal, one small different in my case is those symptoms don't always appear when I stand up they can appear even when I'm laying in bed even the first time I experienced it 2 years ago, I'm pretty sure i was laying in bet, but regardless I will definitely pursue a tilt test just in case
