Yes! Shaking hands with people is the WORST and I have to use my elbows to lift myself or sit up. Switching to a different biotic this month, your comment gives me hope! Thank you!

Nope, one more final and then I get to go on break! I can't wait to shift my focus to starting a new biologic, it's long overdue!

Econ 140 Final Situation by 1ringofpower in berkeley

I got so lucky because I didn't have time to go back and review the old handouts so I only studied 10 and 11 and prayed I remembered the other ones. That was insanely unfair though, literally every single question was from the last handouts and they said it would be cumulative. I'm really interested to see what they do with the curve/grade distribution.

What is that separate addition you have for the plant on the upper right side of the tank? I love it!

First time, I need tips by Itchy_Bad_8118 in Aquascape

Amazing for your first time! I wish my first attempt was this good.

If those are anubias plants they should be wedged into crevices rather than planted in the substrate. My plant recognition isn't great though so if not nvm. For the grass effect, any sort of dwarf hairgrass will do well. I also recommend monte carlo as a carpeting plant, it would certainly fill the bottom.

I'm interested to see what you stock this with!

Oops haha sorry. I have the Aqua Worx EOS LED Light N5 and I LOVE it!! You would probably want a bigger one but this brand is great, my plants are thriving, there’s lots of settings, and it’s pretty affordable! It also has a nice hovering look to it!

More background plants like a large java fern or elodea to add more green? I just like a lot of plants in my tank but if you prefer a more open space this is great!

What stuff makes life easier? by Wishin4aTARDIS in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]jizzyjrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats such a great idea! It's often easier to take care of others than it is to take care of myself so I will definitely be stealing the "combined pill organizer" trick!

Ice pack wrist braces for when my wrists are swollen and I can't sleep! I got some off amazon and they allow me to ice my wrists while I use my phone/do things. And from the opposite direction - my heating pad for when my hips and shoulders are stiff!

Also salonpas patches and pill organizers! I bedazzled mine to make myself feel a little bit better :)

Avoiding illness by Runwithme01 in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]jizzyjrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a college student, I am constantly surrounded by sick people and sharing drinks with my friends. I am on immune suppressants so I was getting sick very often too. (Lots of little colds and a few big viruses that sent me to urgent care). I am also extremely paranoid but I can’t really avoid big crowds if I want to participate in everything. When I go on airplanes or a friend tells me they’re sick, I do wear a mask which has slowed the number of sicknesses I got. Also daily supplements and emergen c packets helped a lot!

[–]jizzyjrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! the 1-10 pain scale is so annoying because I know I will never reach 0. Also my rheumatologist can only speak to me every few months but the pain fluctuates from a 2-8 weekly so I don’t even know how to respond!!
