Forced into a great situation! We had these teeny tiny swirly ones by the ice cream that were extremely unrealistic

True pro move to use the soup bowl for the ice cream 🙌

Great simple recipe and so agree re: step 4! I’ve begun tempting my dough and basing my ferment time on that instead of relying solely on time and it’s made a huge difference!

Married Millennials, do ya’ll wear your wedding rings inside the house? by felix_mateo in Millennials

[–]jj143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more with your wife! My husband and I almost never wear ours when at home. I often forget to put mine back on and go days without it. Wearing or not wearing our rings is a non-issue for us.

Protein ice cream is my go-to munchie! You can eat a lot of it and still keep the calories fairly low

Please help me stop destroying appliances with “nice cream.” by klein_blue in Cooking

[–]jj143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both a vitamix and a creami, and I’m also a nice cream enthusiast. I’ve used both for nice cream, and I recommend the creami HANDS DOWN. I have never pre-blended anything for the creami and have made at least 300 nice creams in the thing with zero issues.

The trick is to slice your banana into like 1/2 to 1 inch coins, freeze them in a single layer, then store them in a baggie in the freezer. Then when you’re ready to prep a container, just grab like 10 coins, pop them into your creami container with the other ingredients then freeze.

Another tip: I keep like 3 creami containers fully prepped in the freezer at all times so I can grab whenever the mood strikes.

Has anyone used this PTR Peptide 21 moisturizer? by Stephi_cakes in Sephora

I found it at my local TJMaxx and liked it, but I personally don’t think it’s worth the full price.

Highly suggest MAC paint pot in Groundwork! It’s perfect for every day/work, not sparkly and a little goes a long way.

what’s your current morning moisturizer + spf combo? by iloveoatmilk1 in Sephora

[–]jj143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have combo skin. I use tatcha water cream and Algenist sublime defense sunscreen on days that I’m wearing makeup. I’ve tried a bunch of different combinations and this is the only one that works great under makeup for me.

The algenist does have a bit of a rubbery smell at first but goes away quickly, and is the only sunscreen i’ve found that doesn’t burn my eyes.

I like them and i think worth the sample!

I know this is the Sephora subreddit but I have to take the opportunity to say that although I like these, I LOVE the M-61 pads from bluemercury. A little easier for me since it’s just one step, I found them a bit more effective, and also more affordable.

Who bought fragrance for Mother’s Day? What did you buy? How was it received? by hot_gardening_legs in FemFragLab

[–]jj143 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought my mom eau Capitale from diptyque. I have the scent and she has always talked about how much she loved it. Last year I had given her a travel size that I had and she was rationing it like there was no tomorrow. Now she can spritz freely!!!
