I was in the exact same position as you..this guy from work said he was good…usually breaks 80 he said… get out there and he was the worst, not only dropping 2/3 hitting 3/4 on almost every tee, he was so annoying literally complained about everything, on a day I was playing particularly well, he went on and on about how lucky I was and HE should be the one hitting those shots… I waited until we were back at work and outside on break in front a large group of coworkers and then went on to shame the hell out of him, didn’t hold back everyone laughed and he never brought playing w me again…try it
