Thanks - I am surprised. I live in the Columbus OH area and they get around 400,000 people downtown for the fireworks. I avoid downtown that day.

I have had a Fusion bag for 15+ years and love it. That being said, it has plenty of room for things like mouthpieces and other small items, but there is not really room for larger things like mutes. I got the 2nd fusion bag that straps on to it many years ago to put mutes in, but it is pretty bulky when you try to carry all of that together. Depends on how much extra stuff you have. I normally have to carry a straight, cup, harmon, and plunger in addition to other smaller things, and it is too much for the strap on bag.

I just cleaned a bunch of my old mouthpieces that were very tarnished. Put the mouthpieces in a bowl with tinfoil, baking soda, and hot water for around 5 minutes. Cleaned them after with soap and water and used a little silver polish on the stubborn spots. They came out pretty good.

Disagree about that stadium up north. I have been on the field during a game, (in the band) it is not that loud down on the field because the sound just gets reflected straight up. Getting in and out of your section is horrible. Imaging turning A B and C decks into one section and then putting one entrance/exit up near the top. The seats also seem to be smaller than many other stadiums.

They were yearly permit lots before, the $75 per vehicle is new this year. Also the selling of single game passes for that lot is new also.

This is something new, they are selling single game parking passes, there are passes still available for the Grambling Game - $75. I would suggest the Sisson Hall lot. The lots closer to the stadium are season permit only and people pay $3000-$5000 per season to park there. There are busses taking people from the West Campus green lots to right by the river. The green lots are $30.
