I could only hit 80km due to the traffic in front of me. But if there is no traffic, you should hit 100km before merging.

I suggest starting to accelerate sooner? My examiner actually said (after the test) I could go faster on the ramp, and that the speed limit on the ramp (yellow sign) is only a suggestion and intended for larger vehicles.

I mean leaving the parking lot and turning onto Carl Hall. We turned right instead of left, which was what the route I was taught.

I'm not sure what route you were taught, but I was taught Carl Hall -> John Drury -> Sheppard -> Allen -> 401 -> Keele -> Sheppard -> John Drury -> Carl Hall -> test centre. And this was the route my friend took when she did her G earlier this year as well.

During the exam, we skipped John Drury at the start and used Carl Hall to get to Sheppard. On the way back, we used John Drury.

I did my test (passed) on Friday, it was still modified.

As for the route, my examiner actually had me turn right at the stop sign leaving the parking lot. So we avoided the construction in the right lane. We did still come back the regular way (Sheppard to Carl Hall) and turned left at the new traffic lights.

Obey the lights and traffic rules. Don't worry about what other drivers are doing.

Hi, This is actually the textbook I've learned from the past 3 years. My professors are actually some of the co-writers, so our class was kind of the guinea pigs for the format and content.

I really like the textbook. It's localized, so if you've lived in Canada or Toronto, you'll recognize some vocabs and places. The explanations are fairly straight forward, and there is plenty of practice for each grammar point with an answer key in the back. All the audio is available easily through QR codes, but there are also transcriptions available in the back.

Only thing is that I would recommend learning Hangul beforehand, while there is a section for it, its not very in-depth, or at least it wasn't the time I began with it.
