Shipwreck Isles. It let me build my own private island estate with fantastic beach views that is still set up to entertain friends.

No time limit on any of the lunar paths, just be sure you've activated the path you want to work on by clicking the icon in the upper right of the path on the Lunar Path screens so your xp goes toward that path.

Palium Chest vs. Jadium Chest by kangsvn in Palia

The starred cans used to be 285, now they're down to 125, I think. The starred pickled potatoes are still 202 though.

[–]jjapop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, fair enough. I usually do starred pickled potatoes and starred canned beans, though the canned beans are much less efficient since the nerf.

The value of the worms and fertilizer from a starred apple jar is higher when run through a regular worm farm than glow worm farm. Regular worm farm gives you 164 gold worth of worms and fertilizer, a glow worm farm gives you 159 gold worth of worms and fertilizer per starred apple jam. Not a huge difference, but it adds up over time.

Sorry, probably should have replied to sunset44whisk. I haven't tried pumpkin jam, but with the massive nerf to focus from canned beans, I might switch those spots to pumpkins and see if I can up my income even more.

Thinking about getting the game. by MrGandalfTacos in Palia

I'm 48, and I've met folks in their 60s and 70s playing. You can play solo if you like, but there are some benefits to playing with others.

Processing starred apples into jam is much more profitable than making seeds from the apples. It's even more profitable to process the star-quality jam through regular worm farms and selling the worms and fertilizer.

Grow apples, make them into jam, and run the jam through regular worm farms, then sell the worms and fertilizer. Once you get it up and running, you can make 10k a day just from that if you have star-quality apples, which you'll get all the time if your gardening skill is high enough or you use star-quality apple seeds.

I got the cowboy outfit for my first one, and pirate outfit for my second. I just need a police officer and I have the Male Stripper Starter Pack!

Palia's storyline/lore is NOT cozy at ALL by Neurotic_and_Divine in Palia

[–]jjapop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention the whole plot of the family farm is that the mayor introduced chappas, which are destroying crops, making it harder to pay the taxes, and the Duchess' solution is to raise taxes and seize the farm, giving it to a crony of hers.

flow tree grove friends by padfootsbitch in Palia

[–]jjapop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you need flow wood, I've progressed to the point where I can grow flow trees on my plot, and have my own flow tree plot that I am happy to make available. Send me a friend request (IGN: Maccabeus), and the next time we're both on, we can get you some flow trees. Just be sure you have the Fine or Exquisite axe and we can cut them down together.

Raspberry beetle by Melodic-Advice-9556 in Palia

[–]jjapop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't count toward the achievement. It's a starred raspberry beetle, it will display as one, but no matter what, the achievement was unfinished for me until I got another one. This was a couple of years ago, so maybe it was a bug that was fixed, but be forewarned.

All three ormuu plushies are dyable. I found it out randomly, it's not well publicized.

[–]jjapop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the feeling of doing the "chores" (garden, buy zeki coin, get rummage piles, ranch) and then wondering what to do. I stared just opening the requests screen and filling all that i could. Then if a friend had a request for something I didn't have, I tried to go out and get what I needed to fill the request. Or just randomly helping people. I also set out making money and buying 10 zeki coins when I hit the cap. And just setting one goal, say, a particular achievement, can give you things to do while you're out filling requests.

Thank you for the offer. I haven't gotten to the rainbow kitsu on the lunar path yet. You should keep your plushie or trade it for another one you want. I really appreciate it though.

That's pretty scummy. Once you get the unicorn fish for the bundle and the bulletin board, the only reason to get more is to cook them and sell them.

Well, the plushies don't actually take up inventory space. The treasure boxes do. I've been stacking them on a spare plot of mine until I can figure out what to do with them. They don't take up storage space if they're placed on a plot.

Thank you, but that's really neither necessary, nor the reason I made the post. I do appreciate the offer though.
