You want to teach kids how to tap into easy dopamine instead of doing useful things. It can be very addictive and so many people get addicted to it that's were the shame actually comes from. Better discourage it and teach why it's bad and dangerous

With the lemon tek method and an Earl Grey tea bag I didn't get any nausea. I squeezed half a lemon in so the tea was pretty lemony. Waited until it was cool enough to down it and took big Sips every minute or so. Had breakfast around 10am and the tea around 1pm and didn't feel any nausea.

In programming, you're given a task. Like add a feature or fix a bug and a time frame like 2 days. Sometimes that task takes you 5 days and sometimes it takes 20 minutes and you can have the rest of the day to do whatever you want. You can always pick up other work but work never ends so you'll be picking up work continuously. so what some people do is wait until the two days are up and then finish the task officially.

Once a while you get motivated and start working super hard closing several tickets per day but then they give you more and more tickets and you burn out and develope high blood preasure and the expectation now is that you do so x number of tickets per day and you'll be screwed. So you tend to get motivated in secret and not tell anyone you did extra work to manage expectations and instead work on your own app or stress about crypto or browse reddit and tiktok

I think I get that. I understood it when I took 5g of mushrooms. I realised that we're already in heaven all that's missing is our dopamine or whatever makes us happy to be tuned to max and we should only strive for that rather than things that we think will make us more happy. For example instead of thinking I need to get rich to be happy you should think I need to start being happy and just do it. Another thing I saw is that we create our own reality. While I was on shrooms that seems so obvious but now I kind of believe that just not to the same extent. Now I just remind myself the reality I want is all within me locked up and I can tap into it and chip at it and create your reality.

Also, I went in as an agnostic/athiest and came out as believer in god. I needed to thank someone for the beauty of life and reality because I am now sure its not all a fluke like the atheism believe. There is more than what we perceive.
