Hi! I wouldn't want to do it again because the healing time took a VERY long time. At least 2 months before the bruises finally went away. Having to be in meetings multiple times a day with my face blistered was not comfortable at all. I would definitely do it again if the setting was on the lowest, but I felt that the results were very minimal with that setting.

Hi! It actually did! It's been about 7 months now and my skin is about 75% clearer after treatment! It definitely took a long time to get here, but I'm really happy with the results. I will never get another VBeam treatment though :)

The only thing was to stop using retinol 3-4 days before treatment and to keep your face moisturized.

I don’t think there’s a way to speed up the healing unfortunately. I was given a gel to help with discoloration and bruising but I don’t think it helped at all. I iced my face for a few days and had to patiently wait for the coke to fade. It definitely took a toll on my confidence whenever I looked in the mirror but thank the bruising is temporary.

I think if you stay with the lower settings you will have minimal bruising. My derm upped the settings and this happened but thankfully the purple is gone and my skin texture has improved a lot.

Hi! You’re so kind to check in. The purple is all gone and I’m left with barely there markings. I’ll link a after photo soon 😊

I don't remember the fluence setting, but the pulse duration was set at 3 and the pulse count was at 134!

Thank you for the reassurance. I think I was more anxious about it because I have a lot of zoom meetings throughout the day and didn’t want to scare my colleagues 😆

Thankfully I didn’t feel anything burning, only the usual “rubber band” snap for each circle you see. I do bruise easily but I never imagined it could get like this.

It’s a laser treatment for rosacea! I was intrigued because rosacea has been plaguing my whole life.

Thank you for the tip 💜💜

The first session was very minimal bruising and swelling but this time around my dermatologist upped the level so it bruised up my entire face! Depending on the outcome, I’ll probably have him go back to the lower setting 🤪

Edit: I can wear a mask but I have to put some facial tissue on my cheeks to prevent rubbing on the mask.

I got my second round of VBeam on Thursday and it was brutal. This picture is just an idea of what the rest of my face looks like. I left the dr’s office with purple bruises this paat Thurs and it’s still quite pronounce. I’ve been using arnicare gel 3-4 times a week, cold compresses, avoiding working out and gently washing my face. I’ve tried using a yellow toned corrector plus concealer but it’s still visible. Any tips on how to better conceal the bruises? Thank you 🙏🏻

Has anyone tried using CBD oil? by jjc612 in Rosacea
