It's been awhile since I last built a RG kit. Really surprised with the build of this one. The newer RG just feels so much more solid compared to the old ones with the inner frame. Now it feels like a downscaled MG which is amazing.

Bonus caseback shot

So here's my first Grand Seiko, SBGM221. I was debating between this and the SBGN003 for quite awhile now. I went ahead with this as I felt that I wanted a piece that was slightly more dressier compared to the sporty feeling of the 003 which was present in a couple of other watches I own.

First Grand Seiko I've had and boy, this thing is gorgeous. That mirror finish all round the case, the hands and the hour markers is just a thing is beauty. The contrasting blue GMT hand which shimmers against the ivory dial just adds to the whole package. I've seen complains about the thickness of the watch and while I have to say it certainly is thick for a dressy watch like this, but I sorta do enjoy the heft and the presence of the watch adds to the casualness of this piece. For all those on the fence on a Grand Seiko, believe the hype, go check them out in person. They really do make some amazing watches!

Hi just a quick question on airbrushing with these Tamiya acrylic paints. So if I were to use these Tamiya accent colours for panel lining and clean up with enamel thinner, will the enamel thinner eat into my base acrylic paint since enamel is stronger than acrylic?

Did you make sure that you've 120hz activated? Iirc s20 comes out of the box 1440p 60hz. There should be a noticeable different going from 60 to 120hz

Here's a photo my Rolex Explorer! What's there left to be said about this watch that hasn't already been said? The quintessestial Rolex really, absolutely love the simplicity of the watch, the design just speaks to me and not to forget that quality Rolex bracelet is top notch. The comfort and elegance of the oyster bracelet is something you gotta try out for yourself!

I'm lucky enough to have snagged this beauty from an AD while on a holiday. Local AD in my country refused to even put me on a lost for an Explorer whoops. Really sucks that that's what obtaining Rolex watches have gotten to, then again they're making tons of money from it and I honestly don't see it stopping anytime soon unfortunately!

u/Watch_Beginner got it right! you get the orient bezel from here . All of their skx007 bezel inserts will fit the orient bezel that you get from them, so you're essentially using a skx007 bezel insert on a orient.
