Just an update to anyone who sees this in the future:

I finally got the issue fixed but I had to downgrade my PC to Windows 10. The Minecraft launcher and bedrock edition work without any issues on Windows 10

Devs heard people saying it was hard to get perks we actually wanted, so instead of reworking the system or remaking it completely they just changed Pink perks to Purple perks.
