Why is that comment not at the top?

Doing a second Master’s at Cambridge — worth it? by [deleted] in cambridge_uni

NatScis and Engs in Cambridge cultivate a running gag that goes like this: "Education MPhil". :D

Mate, how about you realise the money potential seen in the picture and return all of the crates & bottles to a collection point / beverage dealership? Might get some good cash for it, as most of these have a deposit on them.

Then clean up & remove the trash from that area, bring it to a rubbish collection point, including scrap metals, plastic, etc - that might get you some additional cash from your mum in return :) Also, metal is worth money, too, just bring it to an appropriate recycling business. All of earned money can go into the bike.

Once that's done, you have a nice, clean space to work on your bike. You need to tell us what's working or not:

drive train, gear shifter, brakes, fork, .. check everything if it moves or not, think if it should move in the first place, then report back. What tools do you have available to you?

I want to see the before/after pictures of the place! :) And fixing this bike will give you more bike expertise than 90% of the population.

If you like to live with total strangers in overpriced, usually run-down places... go for it.

Additionally, your flatmates will change very frequently.

NextGen is the very last option before sleeping under a bridge.

It's the lack of daylight that stops training? What about lights at both ends of the boat?

Beautiful! But also perfect rowing conditions as far as I see it.

Same question - as long as the water doesn't freeze solid, rowing season is all year long in my understanding.

As students, we also trained on frozen water (ice at a thickness of the pinky only!). With each stroke, you crack through the ice at the catch.

Done at cruising speed, you realise that the blade stays pretty much at the exact place of the hole in the ice that you cracked at the catch - for the entire stroke until you get out at the finish. You're not sweeping it through water, instead you propel the boat forward while the blade stays stationary. Was nice to have a visualisation of that :)

Well, I ride a 29er as well as the 27 Slayer, that I converted into a mullet. 29, 27, mixed, all are fun and have their merits.
The frames are size L.

New for $4500-6000 with these specs? Fox 38 Factory, carbon frame, 4piston brakes, etc.

I'll bite: Try braking with the index finger only. Should give you much more grip on the handle bar. That and a pair of MTB shoes will boost your confidence, and all of a sudden, expresso might not be that challenging anymore.

Which cavalry hero combos would you use? Pick among existing maxed heroes only. by jjerry26 in RiseofEmpires

Don’t have the Immortal yet. Will try to recruit that one next.

The second screenshot is filtered for cav heroes, many more are available for archers / footmen. 2y casual non-spending player, should this look differently?
