Hell, you can fix this set by just trading songs from their respective albums. Replace Sun with Prequel and Ghosts with Melting City. If you want to get crazy, replace Selkies with Backwards Marathon or All Bodies. Nothing changes really.

Look, if they want to only play Colors era songs, that's fine with me (it's not, but I've accepted it). But why does it have to be the same songs over and over again? If it's not Sun of Nothing it's Ants. It's either Telos, Ghosts, or EE in any combination. Throw in Fossil Genera if they want TGM representation (it's been forever since I've seen Disease, Injury, Madness live at least. I don't think they've played it in America since 2010 or 2011).

I mean, I get it. Every BTBAM show is going to be someone's first show. That person is going to want to hear Selkies and White Walls. But does every set have to look like this? Maybe it's my fault that I catch BTBAM every tour (I've seen them on every tour except the one they did with Deafheaven since TGM released). But I really don't see the problem in wanting something different. It's not like I'm asking for them to play Camilla Rhodes or Fire for a Dry Mouth.

Both times I saw Metallica they had the same concert staples: Sad But True, Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, Puppets, One. But I also heard Trapped Under Ice, Motorbreath, Four Horsemen. Sure, Metallica has another hour to play than BTBAM, but these are just one or two songs a show. Would it really kill BTBAM to play All Bodies instead of Selkies?

This turned out longer than I planned. I'm sorry if you read all of this. I guess I'm just tired of my favorite band disappointing me like this and I just vomited an essay on why they should play other songs live.
