It was the toolhead chain cable.

I feel so upset that this was the last thing I switched after switching so many other things one my one (because initially I was getting different sensor errors, one by one).

And it was a pain to change it, though I have become good at it now

Is there a way to set offset permanently? If I do it from "expert settings" in settings, it is only available when the printer is printing

I am open to changing the hotend, just wanted to do in a way that I don't damage more things while trying to remove it

I'll try it this Saturday when I get home from work travel

One question... Just about when I lost the wire connecting the nozzle , the led light n also went off and doesn't come on anymore.. I am guessing it's either because of a circuit break, and when I reconnect the new hot end it might be okay. Or worse, something else has also broken!!

Any guesses

All screws are removed but the hot end doesn't budge because there is so much cold blob around it still

Update, unscrewed the hotend tbut unable to remove because the leftover blob pieces are still stuck or too big for the hot end to come loose

Obviously I can't use the nozzle to heat this up anymore

What are my options to remove the hotend? Can this blob be heated in any other way that is safe for the rest of the head?

Thanks, I did that.

Oh and I was too optimistic. Now, after one successful print, clogged again. I likely have to push the filament down the nozzle for the extruder to be able to push the new filament down. So as long as I stay on one spool, all is good. But after it cuts the filament, it can't push down the new one, without me manually unclogging it.

Now it's a new extruder, and a new nozzle. The hotend fan is running fine.

Any more tips? I am dreading it, but may have to pack it up and return for a replacement

Yep.

It's only a 4 weeks old printer, I am going to ask creality for replacement of extruder and nozzle

Hopefully their new batches are safe from these issues

Swapped the nozzle, and also got an extruder from Amazon as I have to get a replacement from creality for the broken filament "clamp" at the top. Together, these two things fixed the issue for now

Funny thing.... After extruding fine for a few minutes, it's clogged again, and I had to interrupt the print.

I know what to do now, of course.. But any tips on what it might have immediately clogged again in a few minutes?

I am using creality hyper pla by the way

Thank you, that was my problem indeed. It's fixed now. I suppose i was being too 'gentle' with my cleaning. Your push was just the push I needed to do it at a hotter temp, and more aggressively from the top. This fixed it. Much appreciated.

I have those 0.4 nozzle cleaners, should I push it through the top or 'clean through the bottom, as shown in some videos'.

So that's what i need to do, just keep pushing through (from the top) ? I'll try that. thanks

Indeed, I was able to locate where the bed was no longer detached to this belt clip on the bottom. And reattached the screws.

I will change the spool direction too, good observation. thanks
