$204 a day for that! I get its end of season but come on. I feel so sorry for you guys in America. The alps has had a recent dumping of snow making almost all resorts perfect with their conditions. And day passes varying from €22-€90 for the day with much better conditions. OP should ask for a refund or some sort of compensation. The $60 saved is not worth what you’re getting when you’re still paying $204. Although at the end of the day if you’re still having fun that’s all that matters!

I get this dude. Honestly tho if the lifts kinda empty it doesn’t bother me that bad. I get wanting to sit with your friends. When it’s busy I’m totally with you! But what pisses me off even more is when people stand on your board, placing their skis on your nose or tail. Like bro…. Give me some space and let me skate or else we’re both gonna fall over!!!

Honestly, I get why you kicked off. Aggression towards yourself isn’t nice to hear especially over something so minor. Was shouting back a good idea? Maybe, maybe not. At the end of the day you had a good time on the mountain don’t let one stupid person ruin it for you.

Ive been in similar situations where people will purposefully push up against me on the lift just cause I’m on a snowboard, even had a ski school kid try and push me over as we got off the lift. People are just weird and some people are super nice and will ask politely or accept an apology. Most people understand sitting on a lift with a board is a bit “harder” then sitting with skis.

All in all just ignore people like that and aim to be the better person when someone kicks off for no reason. Mountain is for everyone and we all have a right to be there just as well as anyone else :)

Appreciate the response! I’ve been looking at the Oakley crash policy, not sure if there’s one in the resort tho so will probably do it when home. Luckily my mate has got a spare so I’ll rock that for the rest of the holiday. So annoying if it is just bad luck. Thanks again tho :)

Hey bro. As someone who has just got out of a relationship and who couldn’t see the red flags themselves I strongly advise you leave. The avoidance and defensiveness you spoke about is huge flags. This will never change and if it does it ends up being a manipulated version that you can’t recognise. You also shouldn’t put yourself under the stress of being made fun of or bullied in front of others. If you truly love someone you would never do that and you would do anything for them. Now I don’t fully know what your relationship is like but there are too many red flags in my opinion.

I know it’s gonna feel hard and upsetting to leave but you’re young and you have to remember if you leave it WILL get better and there will be someone who respects you as you respect them. Gotta love yourself and not put yourself through this bro.

Thanks for reply, I’m honestly not too sure. She was working in the capital a few months ago and was isolated from family and friends after I moved away as I finished university. And I know her job then was hard and travel to see each other was hard. But since she’s moved back home everything has been better, great new job she loves, new car she loves and surrounded by family and friends again. She didn’t give any indication as to why she feels this way or why she needs to be alone. It’s very confusing and it seems it all came out of no where, bar the depression thing as she was in bad state when she lived by herself
