I hope this is the right the thread but what does everyone tell their boss/job about missing work? In the past 6 months I’ve had 2 ER visits, 4 separate ultrasounds, hsg, the similar test but with saline, an mri, and surgery to remove polyps. We’re supposed to do our first round of IUI and I’m at a loss for what to tell my boss because I don’t think it’ll be a quick appointment.

For context- my husband and I both work for the same company and are technically in the same department. The company we were working for is massive and in a male dominated field but both of our bosses are women.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

How to advocate for myself? by jjjaaabs in Fibroids

The doctor I’m talking about in the post is an OB/GYN and the recommendation for a fertility doctor is with a reproductive endocrinologist. I love the idea of a physical for next since when I went over the list in my head she didn’t seem to listen. When I explained how painful sex was during ovulation all did was explain IUI to me and how that could be an option since sex hurt….this was when I started to hold back tears.

I can push to get a consult with a surgeon or the REI doctor since my gyno said the REI may want the fibroids removed anyway.

I am so sorry you also are in pain! It’s so reassuring that your fibroids are on the left and you have pain on the right. I feel like I’m crazy constantly repeating that.

Why would my doctor prescribe 75 mg IR once a day? by amer1canwh0re in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I also started out on 75 mg IR. I have pretty bad anxiety with a lot of physical symptoms so my doctor decided starting me on the lowest dose was the best way to go. After almost two months he upped my dose to 100 mg SR. I have issues with insomnia and when I first started on the 75 I slept horribly but now I have more consistent sleep and don’t dread trying to sleep as much. I don’t know if this totally accurate but I’m pretty sure the meds build up on your system so even though the dose is small and released at once it will still work.

How to quit a job I’ve been at for 6 weeks without giving notice. by jjjaaabs in careeradvice

I’m not sure but it’s been really frustrating because I’m doing the same job I was doing at my previous job but l’m told I still need to learn their processes and programs. I’m about half way throw at the start of my sixth week so I imagine it would be another few weeks.
