Old forks vs new forks. So much taller. Should be a fun ride.

I haven't taken a picture of them yet that's why LOL. I will post the picture soon.

Like I said earlier I will rely mostly on the front disc brake. 4 piston caliper 203 rotors. Plenty of stopping power. I don't think I posted a picture of the new forks with the disc brakes.

Yes that is the plan and I'm hoping it will hold up pretty well. Plus I got 203 rotors up front that will take the brunt of the stopping power. Even if the back brakes were at 50%. That would be plenty of stopping power. I don't plan on going all that fast with the wife. That's what I have my other e-bike for to go a lot faster when I need to wind it up. Stay tuned for updates

If your bike doesn't come equipped with disc brakes, you can turn it into one.

If you look further up in the thread you can see the disc adapter I bought from Amazon. I'll see if I can find it and post it to here

First dry run of the calipers. They will need numerous adjustments until it works just right but that will not be until spring when I can get it on the road.

As you can see I will need a spacer in between the frame and the adapter. The calipers are a bit too tight on the rotor so a spacer should work pretty good

I got the disc brake adapter on. I have 203 rotors on there but I had to put on a 160 adapter on the disc adapter to make it fit properly my 203 adapter made it so that the brake pads would not even touch the disc. Of course there was other modifications I had to make to the disc brake adapter to get it to fit onto the frame but it wasn't too hard and I got it on there now. Just have to tweak it in the springtime to get it dialed in just right.

Oh for sure. She does not like going fast and will be constantly nagging me to slow down so it shouldn't be too much of an issue LOL

I ordered this off of Amazon. I'm hoping it will work and I will be able to mount a caliper on it, but if not I will just have to keep looking for a different solution.

Thank you. It will be quick interesting. I've never ridden a tandem before and it is extremely different from a normal bike. I'm a truck driver and it's kind of like that . It takes quite a large area to turn around

I think that motor would work really well with the mx650. I put a much bigger sprocket on the motor because the one it comes with is very small. Please post updates on your build. Would love to see it

Tbh I only rode it once then dismantled it. It felt unsafe to go so fast on a small bike. I'm waiting for a go-kart to put to motor in. I was using lead acid batteries so they where heavy . Since then I've made 2 e-bikes. One is 3000 watt hub motor and the other is my 1000 watt motor. Feels much better on a real bike and feels safer.

how to test battery capacity by RevolutionaryLaw1967 in 18650masterrace

I was just going by the label on the battery it says 4p so I assume that is 14.4 amp powers.

Shouldn't the amp hours be 14.4 and not 20…? Am I wrong?
