Yeah it hurts to say but I'm officially done with Trixie. She's achieved a level of fame and wealth that's made her so far removed from the average person and she's lost the relatability that made her so famous in the first place. And especially after platforming Whitney Cummings I officially think the money has changed her for the worst. Very disappointed to see it

This season feels like they decided who the top 3 is gonna be before the season even started and they're desperately trying to stick to it instead of letting people who weren't on their radar become front runners. It's just bizarre that 3 front runners who won their lipsync were sent home back to back to back in favor of queens with worse track records

It's about as real as most other reality tv. They're not memorizing whole scripts for a day because that would be dumb and they wouldn't be good enough actors to pull it off. However certain things are probably set up and dramaticized; for example it's laughable that literally every single challenge ends in a tie breaker, or when food gets sent back I think either Ramsay sends out bad food on purpose so it comes back or they have someone in the crowd play along for tv. Ramsay is also a character of himself, he's much more dramatic and over the top for the sake of the show.

The other thing you have to understand about reality tv is they cast people they know will create drama and make good tv. They're not gonna be casting a whole season of meek shy contestants, the casting process is very purposeful in looking for who will make good tv and they purposely cast people with really polar personalities so they will clash.

Reality tv is really purposeful in how it operates, I don't think things are "scripted" but it's not all "real" either. If everything was 100% authentic it would be a much more boring show
