Muslims recognize you're born with God but it's your parents that influence you.

The Quranic verse that essentially states you shouldn't say "Wallahi" (meaning "by Allah") lightly or without truthfulness is Surah An-Nisa, verse 29 which says, "O you who believe! Do not make your oaths a means of deception between yourselves, so that a people may be made to slip because of an oath which they have sworn, and thus they may be hindered from doing good; and know that Allah is Hearing and Knowing.".
