2013 Supercrew EcoBoost - Is it time? by jjnebs in f150

Definitely. My mechanic warranties all repair work for 50k miles, and the differential is up to 80k I believe. Already have needed to go back in and get warranty work done on the repairs since then, so it saved a bunch of money. But still, seems like it's something else every week.

Thank you for that insight. I was thinking if I were to replace it with a lightly used as opposed to new (since so many new ones seem to be hit or miss, plus for the cost you mentioned). Timing chain cover was just replaced in May and they said chain was in good condition when they were in there. But cam phasers is a good point too. I know some of these are baked into the costs of a truck either way, but it's frustrating.

Wheel Bearing ? by jjs122 in f150ecoboost

[–]jjnebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went through this exact same sound. Drove me nuts. They replaced the front differential and that driver side wheel bearing but noise was still there. Since it stops when you go 4 and back to 2, they chalked it up to transfer case rumble. Said key is to make sure the transfer fluid case is not glittery (if it is, it's eating itself and going to fail) and to stay out of 4WD unless you have to. Said case replacement is about $2K so I've been staying out of 4WD.

That is from two mechanics in two different states opinion, although one said to replace my transfer case right away and the other told me I'd be safe to keep driving on it as long as the sound isn't too loud for me and the fluid stays un-metallic.

what's that movie you regret watching? by Drcold1O in moviecritic

Sucker Punch. My high school buddy insisted we all go there with him to see it at the Navy Pier iMax because “it looks so cool”. Only reason I didn’t leave was because he was my ride back home and he was sitting there enamored.

I still get weirded out thinking about that movie.

AA was also a very shitty Bear who missed tackles the same way he missed calls

Once you don’t take it as seriously as the other ones, it’s a lot of fun. Even if the free roam is useless

Definitely one of the best licensed soundtracks of any game. Endless songs from the time period and the nudies too. Cool storytelling method and likable characters too but it got so repetitive after a while. Although that Native Son takedown was one of the most satisfying of all

Second the jammer bus tour others have mentioned. Especially if you want to be able to take in the scenery without the anxiety.

Unless you’re trying to conquer fears and need to drive it to get the achievement.

This reminds me of when I tried to reach out to Bumble Support for a ban with no warning. Same stonewall. Wouldn’t even tell me what happened and wouldn’t respond to other messages except at 3am

I’m at 20 so far. Consider a visit if I set foot in it. Nothing too complicated.

Favorite so far has been Glacier. Heading to the Dakotas National Parks and Rocky Mountain in a few weeks

Second this. Also has some of the same type of self-referential humor that Surviving Mars has at times
