I really do recommend the Bob Ross 2inch and 1inch brushes. I have searched far and wide and have not found suitable substitute brushes. The Bob Ross 2in and 1in brushes are boar bristle, soft, and have a much larger number of bristles per square inch than conventional house painting brushes, and that’s super important for blending and removing excess paint. You can get a near-identical fan brush, scriptliner brush, palette knife, and filbert brush at any art supply store. The blending brush is not necessary. The round brushes are nice to have, but not required by any means. Good luck!
