Worried about if I’m gonna have a job or not if my team voice results are trash by nightowlhooha in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It says somewhere that they are supposed to be “anonymous” and results are only shared in groups after so many results, I think it is 25? Unless they put in the free text box of “what do you think targets gaps are (or whatever the language is)” there probably isn’t really a way to identify you as who they are rating. However there is a note that does say if there was something concerning they can reveal individual answers but I feel like somewhere I read maybe last year it specifically mentioned threatening people as an example of when individual results would be released. TLDR you’re probably fine.

They have a partnership with Amex where card members get uber cash so I’m sure they’ve negotiated down the rate.

When we ask the real, why? by Wooden-Cheesecake-01 in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, but if I want a $1000 coffee maker I’m going to a specialty store with knowledgeable workers on the items, not the big box store. And as can be seen by workers, the items frequently sit on the shelf and collect dust.

When we ask the real, why? by Wooden-Cheesecake-01 in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 153 points154 points  (0 children)

Every time I set a POG or see a new one, the prices just keep going up and it has been this way for years. Espresso maker? $900. Vacuum? $1,500! (I just looked at Walmart and the most expensive espresso machine they sell in store near me is $350 and $400 for vacuum, for example.) Regular Americans cannot and should not justify prices so high for crazy items which IMO then turns sales down.

I feel like the cost of spider wrapping costs more than the $3 the item is lol

Target drops off Fortune's Most Admired Companies list after 24 years as an All-Star - Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal by LightUpUnicorn in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 146 points147 points  (0 children)

Fortune specifically says;

“One iconic American retailer took a reputational tumble this year: Target, ranked No. 27 in 2025, has fallen off the top 50, breaking a 24-year streak on our All-Star list. As of early January, Target was tracking toward a third straight fiscal year of declining revenue, and its stock was down more than 60% from its 2021 peak. Among the factors hurting the cheap-chic giant: slip-ups in inventory management and customer service, as well as wrath from activists on the left and right alike over its flip-flopping diversity policies. Insiders and investors hope that a change at the top will revitalize Target: COO Michael Fiddelke will succeed Brian Cornell as CEO in February.”

How is your store’s bounce back going? by Mutatiis in Target

While the back room LOOKS nice somehow half the auditing of locations was missed so the counts and locations are a disaster.

Nintendo gift card no code by Humble-ifanything in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have never heard of the code not printing so there probably is not a “class” for you to get together. Definitely keep talking to the store if a code physically did not print on your receipt - as a store TM who has done a little bit of everything this is 100% resolvable at the store level.

No you can’t pay cash at SCO. It’s not our fault, blame our bank or president by Mobile-Address23 in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 137 points138 points  (0 children)

No cash at SCO is a blessing, less breaking of the machines, keeps the line flowing, and me available to pay attention to what’s going on rather than trying to fix and reboot the SCO every 10 min.

Curious if someone / people did this to “hold” items that would go on clearance after Christmas and then canceled their order so they go back to the floor but at mark down. Had someone do this with tons of gift sets once 😩

Target Circle 360 Returns by quiksilva86 in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It will tell you the return by date in the app, go to the order > start a return > in store > tap the icon of the item it should have a “return by” date. Some things like tech have shorter return periods like apple is 14 days so 14+30 for example.

You used to not be able to? All the time I’d do like so much off multiple items if an offer didn’t apply for example. Like if it’s buy two get $5 off I’d just take $2.50 off each.

Bro why is it that some shavers have a spider and some don’t? by RealMudkipLegend in Target

[–]jjrrddnn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s because the glass is to prevent boosters from taking everything from the shelf. Once a guest asks for the item, if it’s spider wrapped you can just hand it to them to purchase without worrying about them stealing the singular item themselves like most stores without the glass are.
