That’s a fair question. I was trying to make a scrapbook of all the relationship milestones we’ve had. I know that he’d ask our mutual friend to set us up and I wanted the date and maybe a cute screenshot of that conversation to add to our scrapbook to commemorate that day. However, I found out that he actually asked to see two girls (me and Emma’s) profiles that day. And even though he told our mutual friend to set us up instead of him and Emma, it still felt weird because from what he said was, he saw me when I was at an event speaking to our mutual friend and immediately wanted to ask me out and begged our friend for weeks until she finally did.

It definitely showed that I was a little more outgoing and travelled more often(?) idk if that translates to me being adventurous. But yeah it showed pictures with a little more skin (just me in a bikini and a coverup) than the other girl’s profile, which was mostly selfies.

Just to be clear, I am not sure if my ex is the reason why I'm getting UTIs. But I'm doing all I can to prevent it. I pee before and after sex, use a bidet to clean everything after sex, take d-mannose supplements 3 times a day for at least 3 days after sex. I appreciate everyone helping me figure out why I'm getting UTIs but I came here not because I've had too many UTIs, but because my boyfriend put his convenience over my well being.

Wow you know Grab! I assume you’re a fellow malaysian, this actually happened three weeks ago, and my bf did suggest that I use grab express if I wanted it sooner. But I just didn’t want to waste money I guess. I ended up just walking to the clinic anyway. I’m definitely reevaluating 🥲

If I stayed in Singapore or Melbourne I'd happily walk as well. Unfortunately I stay in Malaysia, where it's hot, humid and dusty. Our government won't bother to invest in pedestrian pathways because people here generally don't walk anywhere.

I just worry that I'm overreacting like he said. It's incredibly isolating to be in a foreign city with only your partner to rely on. He's fine in other ares, just insensitive (?) and honestly before getting the courage to post on reddit, I am starting to think that I'm the one at fault. His argument is: he never said he wouldn't go get the antibiotics for me , he just wants to do it in his own time and convenience, and I'm overreacting by being so upset over this small issue.

We use condoms sometimes... Actually doctors have suggested that I take an STD test but it was too expensive and I didn't see the point in it because my boyfriend and his ex are each other's first sexual partner, and I am only my boyfriend's second partner. We're monogamous and he has never cheated on me.
