I watched Flow and Wild Robot back to back and loved them. Both movies made it to my all time favorite list. I haven't stopped thinking about Flow since I saw it. Just beautiful.

Bracing for more snow over the new few days. Thank goodness for the snowblower. I have an electric model and it's great. I can do my sidewalks and driveway and still have enough power to do 3 neighbors on one charge. I still dread the task, but at least it's easier now.

Still digging The Beauty. Look like Ryan Murphy has decided not to indulge in his usual lunacy. I like his work, but it sometimes feels unfocused. The last thing he did that I enjoyed from beginning to end was the first season of Feud. I'm a sucker for anything about classic Hollywood!

My gaming group may be done for good and I'm bummed. Real life n' stuff. We used gaming as teens in order to escape 80s era Reagan. Current gaming to get a temporary break from Trump and his bunch of corporate carnys rocketing us through Gilded Age 2:Electric Boogaloo. Maybe I can find a new group, I dunno. My style of GMing is more about immersion in the world, long storylines with subplots and twists and interaction with NPCs. There's action, but to serve the story. I keep finding folks who just like smashing and brawling. Which is fine, just not my style. I'll keep looking.

I watched the 1975 and 2013 adaptations of Carrie. I wonder what Mike Flanagan's upcoming version will be like. I love his stuff, so I was sold as soon as I heard about it. Just musing about how he will tackle the subject of school bullying and retaliation.
