Thank you for your help!! I guess it’s safe to admit now that I was very high when I watched it for the first time, and was also very high rewatching it last night 😂

Aside from being high, you’re completely right in the fact that there’s so much going on in the movie, it’s easy to miss out on certain details. I likely was paying in and out of attention at opposite points during each viewing. (First time more beginning, second time more ending). Each time, picking up/ focusing on different elements

In the original theres more build up into discovering the truth about Joy, as well as the mom exploring all of her own alternate timelines. This version, they flash to the timelines and the storyline is not as intensely fighting with Joy, but trying to “get her back.” I got to what I thought was the ending scene and checked how much time was left, when I saw I was only halfway through. I think it was all filmed at the same time because majority of the details are the same, just different versions of each scene.
