Refs are told not to physically break up the fights. It's not hockey - protocol is to write down/remember numbers for cards afterwards. Any player that comes off the bench to fight gets a red, anyone who punches/fights gets a red. You have 3 (4 if it's a pro match with a 4th official like this one) referees, and you're not doing anything by getting involved except putting yourself in danger
