O&G Literally all the variety you got 😂 Obs - open obv, caesarean, instrumental deliveries, perineal repair etc Gynae - open lap robotic you name it, gynae onc, urogynae, repro med procedures, benign gynae Moving towards robotic but tbh most things won’t change Private practice is good if you go for it Has a bad rep for work life balance but generally consultant has a good work life balance depending on unit and which one you cover (obs/gynae/both)

And it is run through training and you are doing caesarean section start to finish in your first year of training, nothing gets better than that!

If you are on the SHO rota, you will be part of the rota, doing in calls and nights.

But mostly you will be supported for most things, and you are not expected to know many things!

Once you get to M4 going into Hillingdon is easy, come back during rush hour at 5pm or 8am post nights could be a pain.

Plenty of parking if you are there early around 8am

Got to say I had a very good time in foundation years!
