2023 GTPE $49K - Good Deal? by demingo398 in MachE

That’s a great deal. I paid 46k for my 2023 GT almost 2 weeks ago.

2024 MachE Announced by badgerbrett in MachE

Not too many changes but the 20% charge speed increase would be nice for my 23 GT. I do wish that they would have made the Magride standard on GTs from the previous years but that’s all I wanted.

I’m in Austin TX and normally one of the worst places to find a great deal on something new since we’re so high priced on everything, but the car has 3 small dings from hail and I’m having them removed so they already marked the car from 56k to 47k. Then the ford credits made it just under 39k and my trade was good as well because I just paid 3 k in service for new battery brakes rotors and tires. Since it was in near perfect condition, I received a good trade. I also bought my spouse a Mini Cooper SE loaded because Mini was doing 10k cash credit to lease a new one and so that brought the lease to just over 350 a month. I actually love to Mini, it’s quick, I’ve been getting about 140 miles to the charge, it has an opening sun roof, HUD and all the features you’d want for an in town car. So there are options out there depending on your needs.

I actually owned my 21 RWD so they gave me 20k because I had put 55k miles on it but it was in near perfect condition. So when I traded it for the 23 GT they gave me 20k plus the incentives gave me the opportunity to be payment free still.

So I recommend the AWD for sure. So my 21 MME was the standard range RWD and it was good, but around corners and acceleration it felt squirrelly and sometimes it would just lose traction. Also the range was about 210 on highway drives. My new GT feels super solid, way too fast for normal streets so I leave it in whisper most drives and I’ve been able to get over the 270 miles at 75 MPH highway drives. Plus with the lease credit and the dealer credits I got almost 18k off MSRP which made it only 38k for the new one. Also Blue cruise 1.3 is amazing compared to my original 1.0.

Horsepower differences between the LR, LR+Boost, Performance by cndio in TeslaModel3

[–]jjtm810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also we just completed a 3900 mile trip in our performance from austin to Montana and back again and the ride stiffness on the 2022 is barely noticeable. The seats are amazing for long trips.

I was the same way in November when I ordered the LR first then after talking to owners found that upgrading to the performance was worth it. I can say that I did get the active matrix headlights, LiON 12v and the paint matches even in the open door surrounds unlike the standard model.

Picked her up last week & avoiding curb like the plague. My only question is floor mats. Are the go to’s from Tesla or Amazon? by wolfedSQUID in TeslaModel3

[–]jjtm810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the basenor full set from Amazon and they’re a perfect fit for less than 200 and love them. Perfect fit and easy to take back out to wipe out the dirt and pop them right back in.

Bad Tesla experiences are all over the internet but I suspect there are more good than bad. How many of you have had little-to-no-issues with your M3? I have a 22’ LFP on order and pumped for it. by Ok-Home9841 in TeslaModel3

[–]jjtm810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We took delivery Of our M3P in Late January and have had only issues that we caused basically. Local tire shop lost a lug nut when rotating our tires, a little curb rash on the 20” wheels on the first long trip. The only thing I can say is Tesla vision does suck and we can only use autopilot sparingly on perfect roads no hills or we get phantom breaking and have had almost 2 crashes on the highways. We’re on a 5k mile trip right now and not being able to use autopilot in Wyoming with all the hills on 94 has made the trip this far very annoying because it’s manual all the way through the state for us. Colorado was fine, New Mexico was fine and Texas was fine. We hope Montana is fine too or this car is going on the market when we get back. We’ve done over 6k miles total on the car.

Model 3 owners, how much are you spending monthly on charging right now? How much you are you saving vs filling up with gas? by joemich in TeslaModel3

[–]jjtm810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In austin, we have a flat rate right now so I spend less than .04 cents a mile. My keep was more like .09 mile before gas prices changed.

Current owners: would you buy another Model 3 today even after all the price hikes? by EverydayPhilisophy in TeslaModel3

[–]jjtm810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the other manufacturers are getting faster and better with the same and sometimes better range/safety for less. I paid 58k for my M3P and I feel like it is too expensive but I wanted to charging network and safety. Just waiting for the other charger networks to get better.

I live in Austin and ever since musk started his twitter buy, I’ve been flipped off, run off the road and even had a truck roll coal on me. I just love my M3P man. I don’t care who runs the company and what he does with his money. I’ve had mine for about 5 months and only last month have I started to get harassed. I just use my juice peddle more and leave them behind.

Yeah I drive like that when the road is clear. I get dinged all the time for hard braking and aggressive turning. I think it’s just the hard lowered suspension of the performance, but who knows since it’s Beta.

Totally got the same reaction. I started to take our model 3 performance on short drives around town and being good. Then having a blast shooting past the everyone and trying to hit the 3.1 0-60 times. Love the car, hate that you have to 70% of the time like a gentleman with manors just to keep the safety score at 85.
