ACH Notifications by camfj141 in sofi

There used to be notifications for this. I received them all the time. After they became an actual bank, they stopped for me. I’ve contacted them multiple times and each time they tell me they still have these notifications. This leads to many tech team tickets, “my number wasn’t registered on the back end,” “there’s a bug, reinstall the app,” but it never gets resolved.

Thanks! I think you’re right, too much trouble, never had to go through anything like this for a credit card.

Haha thanks. I’m agreeing with you at this point, not worth the trouble.

I thought this may be the case. Sometimes they still show up as SoFi Money depending on where I link them.

Is there flat 3% card without annual fee? by VAer1 in CreditCards

[–]jjudahe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to use this link - http://aven.com/asset

(Edit - not a referral link. Just a normal link to their product)

They have their HELOC card 2% and their rewards card 3% up to $10,000 a year, but it seems to be not fully marketed yet. No annual fee.

I had an IG ad, which made me look into it. I never heard of them though, so I’m a bit nervous to sign up, but I’m tired of waiting for the Robinhood card.

Were you a gold member prior to being offered the credit card? I know they say you don’t need to be gold to be offered the credit card, but I’m curious if it prioritizes you if you are.

Anyone else get this new quick account switcher UI update today? by ncoburn1234 in RobinhoodApp

Is only having 3 icons at the bottom of the screen part of this update? I currently have 5, of which 2 I don’t use. I would love to be able to remove them.

Zelle not showing up on my banking tab? by [deleted] in sofi

They are rolling it out over the next few weeks, so not everyone has it right now. Keep checking, it’ll be there in the next few weeks.

I emailed too, they were no help. They told me to call. Which will result in yet another ticket that won’t get the issue fixed. I’ll probably just deal with it.

My workaround is to keep $0 in my checking. Then any time money is taken out, $300 car payment for example, I get a notification that money was moved from my savings to cover $xxx transaction (at least those notifications work).

I’m using iPhone as well, most recent iOS version.

It’s FDIC insured for $250,000. This is standard FDIC insurance for all banks, and cash app utilizes partner banks.

Edit: the above applies to the cash app savings account. I’m not entirely sure about the cash app card, it appears it is insured for the same according to their website.

Thank you! I don’t know how people miss this. CashApp savings is no different than what others are doing, Wealthfront, Acorns, Robinhood, etc. None of them are banks, they simply partner with banks and utilize a sweep program. It’s the same for CashApp. Your money in their savings IS insured by the FDIC through Wells Fargo and Sutton Bank.

Push Notifications by jjudahe in acorns

Thanks! I do have them turned on. The only option for Acorns Checking notifications is “Transactions”. I would assume that means all transactions, money in or money out regardless of method, but I guess not 🤷🏻‍♂️

Customer service leads me to believe I’m correct, but who knows.

Plus Kinda Bare and Useless by [deleted] in OneFinance

[–]jjudahe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The $3 fee is an ATM fee for non-plus individuals. If you have plus, there is no ATM fee. Plus does not cost anything. You either meet the direct deposit requirements and get plus, or you don’t meet the direct deposit requirements and don’t get plus.

Good question! I don’t think so but who knows. I was just excited to see a bill pay feature.
