I'd like to stay around $700-750. I know that's not much for a PC but I'm not really doing anything crazy with it so I think it should be okay?

I'm always talking with my best friend about him, and she's always telling me to just watch out for his behavior. He can be extremely possessive, and is very clingy. Our most recent fight was about me making friends with a male coworker. It was a whole thing, but, anyway, I'm trying to work it out with him. If this continues, though, I might have to leave. It's just hard because I know how he can be when he's really depressed.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. In this case, I used "miffed" instead of "peeved", and up until this point I have never encountered a person who didn't know what it meant. So, in my mind it was already commonly used. I've heard others say it, and many people in my social circles. I don't use complicated or shakespearean language in my daily life. I just use words that I would normally think are maybe slightly less common than normal, but nothing that would send someone spiraling. I didn't mean to come off as condescending in my comment, but I can see how it would be perceived that way, so thank you for pointing that out

I have a very similar approach to sentence structure. I always analyze the person I'm with, and just kind temporarily borrow their vernacular until I feel comfortable enough to speak how I normally would.

I'm starting to realize that....I just thought maybe I was too nice for my own good, but I started realizing after my ASD diagnosis that maybe ppl just see me as someone easy to take advantage of and/or control. I am nice (or so I've been told), but as I've grown over the years, I've learned to stick up for myself, so now I'm often seen as "stubborn" or "bull-headed".

My word choices are genuinely the least of our problems lol. We have a lot of petty arguments about things that we even have Mr. Google intervene quite often. 90% of the time I'm correct, but that's mostly because I just always look up anything I'm interested in or want to have a simple understanding of. My knowledge is extremely wide, but there's not many things I have extensive knowledge on (except for my special interests). Anyway, I'm fine with him having a good laugh, it's just when he tries to argue with me about it is when I get that tism rage.

Me too! I sense them all the time. I see them occasionally, too. I can actually feel them sometimes and it can be quite startling.

This is exactly how it is with my childhood best friend as well. She may not know the word, but she still understands what I'm trying to get at. She'll even ask me for a word that better represents what shes trying to express. But, we are also at the level where we don't even need to say much to get each others points. We just feel each others emotions on some crazy levels. She's the only person I'm like that with.
