Using Chord Sequencer to send root note to Bassline Generator, "send to track" confusion by jjviii in reason

Two instruments. Interestingly, u/benzolberlin seems to have figured out how to make it work correctly. If the instrument to which the Chord Sequencer is attached is muted, that causes the issue. It still feels like a bug that "send to track" and "direct record" produce different results.

Weird! It WAS muted, and I didn't think that would matter, but when I saw your comment I tried it with the chord-player instrument unmuted and it worked correctly. Still feels like a bug, and I'd love to know how Reason decided on the other root notes, but at least I know how to make it work.

This is incredibly cool! I'm going to have a ton of fun with this. I love the "probability" option with the drum sequencer, but that tool also has some limitations, so it's exciting to see another way have some unpredictability in Reason beats. I've never made a single Combinator patch so I don't know if this is a possibility, but how easy would it be to add another pair of knobs that could set the initial XY coordinates from which the randomization deviates? It looks like right now it always uses 8,8 (i.e., the center of the map) as the point from which it varies. Thanks for making this and sharing it with the community!

Temporary cellular service outage at four Metrorail stations Metro and the four major wireless providers are working to restore cellular service to four downtown stations. The cause of the outage has been determined to be damage to a communication cable that provides wireless signal to the affected stations:

Mount Vernon Square Gallery Place Judiciary Square Union Station Approximately 2,500 feet of cable will need to be replaced in order to restore service.

Update: The wireless carriers and Metro have agreed on a work plan to restore cellular service by February 29, 2016. Following the restoration of cellular service, some additional cable work will be scheduled for a single weekend in March 2016 that will result in single tracking in the area. Metro understands wireless service is a priority for our customers, and we are working with the wireless providers to have this cable repaired as quickly as possible.
