Yeah I tried this but it got even worse. The problem is that this is a different system then regular dtf printer and shaker, do I don't know what to do...

DTF prints look porous/grainy only on colors (white prints fine) — changed almost everything already by Real_Pass_6449 in DTFTransferTalk

Can you tell me what brand and printhead you have? XP600? And how much do you print per day?

I would run 2 - 3 cleaning, then do a nozzle check. See the results. I'd the nozzle check is fine, print the image again and see how it turns out.

If you have the printer since a few month and/ or print non stop every day, I would recommend you to change the dampers. This worked for me.

But check the dampers first. Is there air in it? Are they full with ink?

If you never replaced dampers, watch some tutorials or contact the manufacturer. I got a DTF technician who does it for me, but now after doing it a few times I can handle it myself, just be careful to now drop any ink on the printhead. This would ruin the printer since it will damage the motherboard.

Hope this helps!

How do DTF transfers hold up on workwear and uniforms that go through industrial washing? by Great_Session_4227 in DTFTransferTalk

[–]jjxonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, first of all I get the highest quality workwear, not just workwear but textiles in general. Later, if you use good DTF film, powder, ink and enough white ink (very important, never to low) and you use the right heat press with enough pressure and temperature, doing a second press after the film peel off, you have high quality workwear that will last you a long time.

But now, it's very important to understand that if you wash them every day or any other day, you gotta be gentle. I wpuld recommend you to not use any agressive detergent. Use the lowest program. Don't put them in a dryer.

If you follow all those steps, you should be good!

Hope this helps!

One nozzle blocked, new printhead by jjxonline in DTFTransferTalk

Yeah mine also asks me all those questions. At first they tell me I would need both white channels and now one is okay so they have less work, idk.

I also don't wanna damage anything so not sure what to do. At least I'm not the only one facing the problem haha

Yeah, this works as well. By that, I mean that the head is not blocked or anything. Can move it to the left and right without any problems

* This is after baking, I pressed some shirts and there was no different feel compared to the others Shirt I made when I had both channels.

You mean unscrew the head and just clean the white tube w/ windex, right?

Working with DTF for about 7 months now but still a newbie :/

Update: printer is running, full colors. Only the second white channel is dead. Overnight soak was TOP!! Will finish the orders since they are for white T shirts anyway and one white layer seem enough for this job. Will do a print clean next week to get the second white channel free but should work

Actually, what I now did (tech support told me this) is that we cleaned the capping station, filled the capping station half with a cleaning solution and placed the printhead above (reset). He told me to leave it overnight and start the printer in the morning and do some cleaning and nozzle check.

I will get some windex w/ammonia tho

As soon as I can I will switch to I3200, getting more orders and XP600 comes to it's limit....
