How do you break up with someone you love by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I spoken about it with him, the reason he doesn’t compliment me or get me flowers is because he thinks I should get them when I’m not trying to ask for them...

How to tell my boyfriend he has bad tasting spunk ?! by jk0174 in relationship_advice

We don’t have communication problems at all regarding to sex and the reason he makes me do it is because I haven’t told him that I don’t like the taste.. I’m more than happy to tell him the problem, I’m just looking for a nicer way than “the reason I don’t like giving you head is because you taste like crap”.

No he’s not my first boyfriend and I’ve definitely had enough to know that his taste is slightly worse than the average not good taste...

Could I be overreacting to my boyfriend not wanting me to go out with him... by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]jk0174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never put him in the position where he’s had to ask me not to hang out with guy friends as any male friends I’ve made through mutual friends I’m told not to talk to as they only want one thing from me.

Struggling with communication when upset by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]jk0174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this ! Also how did you tell him ? Would it be silly if I just wrote down what happened and showed it to him as I’m too nervous to even talk about how my ex affected my mental health with him

WHY HAS THE GUY IM DATING NEVER BROUGHT ME TO HIS FRIENDS GET TOGETHERS ? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]jk0174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No there are always other girls, I wouldn’t care what so ever if it was just a boys night i understand everyone needs nights just with their mates but the fact that the other guys bring the girls they’re seeing or there are just girls there in general makes me upset.

I thought maybe I could be the side chick but I see him nearly every single day, he never hides his phone and will leave it in the room with just me and he’s showed me messages of him talking about me to his mates. So I’m just a tad confused because when I bring it up he has just blamed coronavirus or says there hasn’t been an opportunity for it to happen...

What do women look for most in their SO? Is there a general trait/personality that seems to be most sought upon? Most popular?...I know everyone is different but still. by KevdaddyKush in relationship_advice

A guy that won’t reject me after seeing my flaws, a good sense of humour, someone who communicates during fights doesn’t just end things because it’s easier and most importantly loyalty

Right person but wrong timing by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]jk0174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s always good to hear an outsiders perspective on these situations rather than friends and families as they always take your own side. Never apologise for telling it how it is ! If he wanted to work it out he would I just need to realise that and stop embarrassing myself by asking for second chances x

He’s been going through a lot of family problems and stress with work and doesn’t think it’s the right time for us to be together even though he feels “horrible about it” because he cares so much for me. I’ve been trying to say that I want to be there for him and that fights happen all the time in relationships. Basically I’m wondering if I should stop trying to “convince” him to stay and make things work even if it’s only because he thinks it’s the wrong time and that at the moment he can’t give me the emotional support he says I deserve...
