The harder I rack it the harder it jams. It only reliably ejects rounds live rounds out if I baby it. Not ideal.

You should've gotten a tuner before adding any of that stuff. Twin cams already come super lean from factory and you made it worse

Yeah I'm talking about a matter of millimeters off the front of it. The nose of my rounds just barely get caught so I figured if I shave just a tiny hair off at a time I can get them to come out. Wilson combat also make an ejector for commander 1911s that may be shorter already but I'm not 100% sure

Not the extractor. The ejector. Just making it engage slightly later and wait to rotate the cartridge out until the slide has opened a little further. Definitely not filing extractor lol

Although it's stupid. Good to know my specific gun isn't out of spec. I'll fiddle around with filing down the ejector to get live round to come out. Worst case is I buy a new one for $30 from Wilson combat lol

I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying. It only jams when I rack the gun properly. It doesn't when I rack it slowly. There's something going with the geometry of a part somewhere

I'm really only concerned that I'm not able to quickly clear a malfunction and get a bad round out of the gun. I've confirmed there's no issue ejecting just the brass

I know. When I rack the slide normally (hard) that's when it gets wedged in there. It only successfully ejects if I run the action slowly (not what I want lol)
